Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you attend a leak?
We prioritise active leaks and make safe as soon as possible. If the weather is unfriendly, we'll complete a temporary fix and schedule final works for the next suitable weather window.
Do you provide warranties?
Yes. You'll receive a workmanship warranty from ZC Roofing Limited, and material warranties from the manufacturer as applicable.
Can you match my existing roof profile and colour?
In most cases, yes. If an exact match isn't available, we'll propose the nearest visual and performance equivalent.
Do I need building consent to re-roof?
Many straightforward like-for-like replacements are exempt, but certain changes, structures and locations may require consent. We'll advise case by case and, if needed, can coordinate with council. General guidance is on the MBIE Building Performance site.
What roof is best for a coastal site?
Coastal sites, from Leigh and Omaha to Snells Beach and the Hibiscus Coast, often need higher grade substrates and coatings, stainless or class-appropriate fixings, and careful detailing. We'll assess your exposure zone and recommend a system to suit.
